Sapporo – Snow City Part I

Hokkaido journey was continued to the last city in Hokkaido, Sapporo. Sapporo, the largest city in Hokkaido is famous for its Sapporo beer, Ramen, snow festival and winter olympic. I took JR train using my Hokkaido JR pass to go from Otaru to the city. If you landed in New Chitose airport, there is frequent train to the city. Otaru – City of Canal and Sushi

Otaru became my third destination during my visit to Hokkaido. Its location is relatively close to Sapporo, hence some people might visit this place for day trip only. Me myself, spend my stay in the place as I would like to enjoy the night view of Otaru. The city has excellent night view and famous of its canal. Hakodate – The Amazing Night Part I

My second day journey in Hokkaido is continued. The next city I visited was Hakodate.  The train journey from Lake Toya to Hakodate takes about two hours journey. Shangrila – Heaven On Earth Part II

I was having my breakfast at main square of Shangrila before starting my day. It was a type of Chinese bread, Shin Ke ping with hot fresh milk. For the bread, it cost me 8 RMB and 5 RMB for the fresh milk. You can order the Yak butter tea or Yogurt as well for your drink. Shangrila – Heaven on Earth Part I

Shangrila has become one of destination that I would like to visit for long time. Impression Lijiang Impress Me and You ?

My trip to Lijiang is not as smooth as I expect. I travelled to Lijiang from Xian via China Eastern airline. From Xian, I took airport bus in front of Melody hotel. There are many touts trying to have you away from taking the airport bus, but hiring their car. For this, I would suggest you to keep calm as long as you have allocated ample time for your journey to the airport. Xian Day 3 and Day 4 – A Visit to China Dynasty

The journey around Xian continued. The first destination of the day was big wild goose pagoda (Dayenta). The bus going there is cheap, only 1 RMB. There is English announcement on the bus. Be reminded to stop when you hear Dayenta (Big wild goose pagoda in Mandarin). You will see huge pagoda from the bus stop.
