Hakodate – The Amazing Night Part II

We continue our Hakodate journey. After visiting the Old Public Hall, it’s time to go up to take the Hakodate ropeway to enjoy the amazing night view of Hakodate. It’s my favourite itinerary in Hakodate and must go place when you visit Hakodate.

I would recommend you to come a bit earlier, to enjoy both views the day and night view. There might be a lot of people also visiting the place as it’s favourite itinerary for many other people as well.

Please don’t forget your jacket and gloves especially if you visit during the early spring or winter time as the weather on the top is cold with the chilly wind. From the top, you can see two water sides of Hakodate with the city in the middle,

With the day start turn to night, you can observe the light of the city which turn the view more spectacular.

Once completing the night view, I roam around to see some churches include the Roman Catholic Church, Russian Orthodox Chuch on the down area nearby the ropeway station.

I went back to Kanemori brick houses to enjoy the night view of the place. It has a wonderful night view and some shops include restaurants are opened for visitors.

I chose one of the restaurant and having the delicious beef rice. The portion is a bit large, so make sure for you not to order too much. Afterward, I went back to my hostel to rest.

On the next day, I went to Yachigashira onsen area. It’s at the end of one of the streetcar line. At hear, you can enjoy onsen with affordable price as it’s public onsen. You might need to roam a bit to search for this place. Just look into one building shown below with the cars parking in front.

Afterward, you can roam around the Yachigashira area to enjoy the surrounding view as well the sea view.

At the area, there are also seller of BBQ and boiled seafood origin from here.

Afterward, I back to my hostel to pack my stuff to visit new city, Otaru by train.
