Lanyu – The Aboriginal Island of Taiwan

From Kenting, I took train to Taitung via Fangliao train station. I spent a night in Taitung as need to catch up morning ferry to Lanyu (蘭嶼) or also known as Orchid island, part of Taitung county. There is aboriginal celebration on the night I spent in Taitung. You can take ferry from Taitung or Kenting Houbihu or take plane from Taitung. The aiport in Lanyu is just a small airport. Kenting – Let’s Begin Taiwan Journey

Ipoh – City of Heritage Part II

On my last day of my trip after exploring Cameron Highland and Taiping, I went back to Ipoh for my last night before next day departure back to Johor Bahru. The main destinations are the Kek Lok Tong and Sam Poh Tong temple. Both are on the same direction. You will pass Sam Poh Tong when you go to Kek Lok Tong. Ipoh Food Battle II – Chicken And Bean Sprout

Chicken and bean sprout is one of Ipoh specialities. Some might say if you visit Ipoh, but not yet try its chicken and bean sprout, it likes you never visit the city. Ipoh Food Battle – Dimsum Battle

Ipoh is famous for its culinary and majority of Chinese people here are Cantonese. Hence no wonder, dimsum is one of famous culinary in Ipoh. There is one street in Ipoh that you need to visit if you are fond of Dimsum. It is Leong Sin Nam, also famous as Dimsum street due to concentration of Dimsum shops on this street. Ipoh, City of Heritage

I recently visited Ipoh combine with Cameron Highland and Taiping. Ipoh itself has many similarities with Penang. Both of them are famous for their heritage buildings, mural paintings, and for sure, for their culinary. Sapporo – Snow City Part II

My second day morning was started by having the breakfast at Nakajima Vessel Inn.  During my visit, they have special promotion for the breakfast which cost less than normal.
